I have been stationed here at Luke AFB for a couple of years and this morning I had to take a different path to work since the Troy Gilbert bridge was blocked. Apparently a couple of car thieves stole a vehicle and made the mistake of turning onto the military installation as a part of their escape. They ran the gate, and security forces opened fire on the suspects who then crashed the car. One of the thieves died at the scene, and the other will suck up tax payer’s dollars in a trial once he slithers out of the hospital.
This morning at crossfit we did “walk out pushups”, which I thought were really cool. It was a part of our warm up before we jumped into the actual workout. I am really enjoying crossfit but some of the workouts are a little on the unrealistic side.. the amount of weight that we are asked to use in the routines is a little on the ambitious side.
Food of the day: the McDonald’s fruit yogurt parfait. I love those things and they do a great job of taking the edge off when I am waiting until it is lunchtime. I don’t gorge when I eat because I am not starving. Good job, Mac D’s.. now start making decent fries again and all will be forgiven.
I have a discussion forum that I own and administrate, and lately one of my most active users… wait, let me be honest… he is practically my ONLY visitor… lost his internet connection at home and has been using wi-fi hot spots. The job search continues for him and I hope he gets back on his feet soon. This is a tough economy and I wish everyone well as we all tough it out.
North Korea would rather starve than give up its nuclear program. The country has amassed enough weapons grade material to make about six nuclear bombs and shows no signs of giving in to pressure from other nations to dismantle their rogue nuclear weapons program. They have a shortage of food and fuel, the place is a shithole, and there will be more sanctions against the country which means even less food and a smellier shithole. I lived in South Korea for a year and I was grateful for what we have in America once I returned.. I bring this up because South Korea is a paradise compared to North Korea. North Korea’s “dear leader” has a giant army, but is stuck on a peninsula with nowhere to run if he pisses off the free world, and so he thinks that nukes will give him more power. Not in his lifetime. He should focus less on being an asshole and focus more on taking care of North Korea and her people. As I type this I am thanking God I was born an American.
By the way, my discussion forum actually has a few loyal users, and I am grateful to them all. Thanks, guys…

Three guys were having a beer in a bar in London. They were all relative newly-weds and they were talking about their wives.
The first man said he’d married a woman from India . He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.
The second man had married a woman from the Philippines. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn’t see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw that his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table.
The third man married a girl from London. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot food on the table for every meal. He said that the first day he didn’t see anything, the second day he didn’t see anything but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he pees.
