Taryn Hathaway was told by her art teacher, “Draw. Whatever you like.”
So she did. She drew an American Flag, and put “God Bless America” on it.
Her art teacher called it offensive and said she couldn’t draw such things. Can you beleive it? The flag of this country is too offensive to draw in Taryn’s public school art class. God isn’t to be spoken of in Taryn’s public school art class. Apparently Taryn’s art class isn’t about expressing yourself at all… It is about following the oppressive rules of the art teacher who is less than patriotic and God-fearing.
Taryn talked to her mom about it, and when her mom asked the school about it, Taryn’s teacher got mad and told Taryn that she “should have left it between the two of them”… funny how teachers don’t like it when they get caught doing something wrong… just ask the teacher who got fired after she was video taped issuing a beat down to a 13 year old student…
