Military Low Crawl – Great Exercise

Great for cardio and total body toning. The low-crawl is a move where you lay flat on your stomach, and keep your body as close to the ground as possible. You move forward by dragging yourself using power from the legs as you dig in with your feet, and power from the arms as you use forearms and palms to pull yourself forward. Stay as flat as possible, and expect some “rug burn”.

A similar move that doesn’t have as much rug burn is the high crawl. Ironically, the high crawl is the military move that most people mistakenly call the low crawl. Use your forearms and legs, and allow your torso to raise off of the ground.. this move makes military people more vulnerable to attack but allows them to move faster during a crawl move. Can be great for cardio, and there is not quite as much bruising and abrasion burning involved.
