speaking of track days....an offer

Hey! The connection works and cruisin' thru I looked in track records....I see Jack Baumgarner has the GT5 track record with his MINI! I wonder if it was in the old #44 or the new #44 (new one is front engine and rear wheel drive - it's SCCA go figure how that is a legal MINI!!!). Old #44 is being run in Vintage races by Ron Nist and last I knew he lunched the motor, so if ya got any 1275's laying around...give Ron a shout!

That site is nice and simple.. I like it. I have a tendency to make a gnarled mess out of my sites.

They problee spell worse than I do !!!!! I liked the video of the lap - complete with lil' car running the course on the course map. I did notice the 'bumpy' track. It is/has been a small operation, and I'll have to look in the archives for any VCR tapes on laps/races. It's been that long ago since I was there!

I actually rode my bike to work today. Starter when out on the wife's car so she has my truck. Now I am aching for some track time back in TX... =(

Ohi-Ya is for you! Cheap trackdays, LEO fun and I still need to find someone to work on my bikes.........and no desert, just lots of fens and bogs, and treed hills......:>P

This is nice! Talked with buddy in town. Next Saturday is another track course. You pay $150.00 and at the end of the day you get a competition lic. I said, If I can find a bike to dedicate to track day I'd think about it. He says, use my bike! That was nice. Then he says that there are endurance races and need more than one rider....ya wanna be the second rider? This is nice too.

I declined, most appreciative of the offer, but it's one of them never a borrowere or lender be things that sticks with me. Momma unit would just love that....Saturday, Where are you going? Oh, I thought I attend a racing school and get my competition lic to race motorcycles....where's that string: ...and that's when the fight started?

Oh Yeah...I did a quik search, but no results for my leathers fer sale....BUT, the jacket fits again, and the last time I tried the pants, they were close to closing...so a few more days/weeks at work and I'll have saved me a thousand bucks! So off market, not that anyone contacted me about smelly old leathers...well they weren't smelly! Wife thinks I look good in the jacket...sooo... well maybe an NWS string then?
